Submission of your assignment
You can submit your internship or graduation assignment in this database.
Internship agreement
Interns and graduating students of Fontys University are not required to sign an agreement with the company or organisation that provides the internship or graduation project. They may however do so, but Fontys ICT will not sign such agreements. Instead, Fontys ICT sends the standard internship terms and conditions to the company or organisation. These hold for all parties involved.
Working hours / Vacation days
The intern or graduate student is expected to work full-time during the semester of the (graduate) internship in accordance with the working hours and practices at the company. This also applies to holidays and illness, in which case the student acts in accordance with the company's agreements and customs (e.g. with regard to the procedure for reporting sick). For the trainee or graduate student, the times of school holidays therefore play no role. In the case of part-time/OVP, working hours may be proportionate, depending on the factor that can be spent on graduation (the graduation internship lasts a maximum of one year in those cases).
Insurance
As standard, the intern or graduating student is insured via Fontys for accidents and legal liability in the execution of the internship or graduation project.
Sexual harassment
Fontys does not tolerate any form of sexual intimidation, aggression or violence. It strives to create a safe study/work environment for everyone involved. If an intern or graduating student is unexpectedly confronted with sexual harassment, he/she can contact one of Fontys University’s confidential counsellors (http://www.fontys.nl/vertrouwenspersonen/).
